Bring Back Pedestrian-Friendly 32nd St

Before, or after?

Midtown sidewalks are too crowded for pedestrians, and no one should be forced to walk in moving traffic. In Summer 2015, 32nd Street between 6th and 7th Avenue got a temporary makeover to address the problem.

With the support of the community board and neighborhood stakeholders, the sidewalk on 32nd St was extended to include room for everyone walking, and even had flowering plants. After the pilot project ended, traffic calming and neighborhood beautification reversed.

Redesign the street so it can exist for those who need and use it most. Sign this petition to bring back Pedestrian-Friendly 32nd Street!
